| Key Objective(s): | Enable teachers to learn about the use of new technologies in teaching. Demonstrate the use of the interactive whiteboard with use of different examples and discuss its use in teaching and learning. Provide teachers with the opportunity to use the software and observe the options available to enhance teaching and learning. |
| Description: | 1 hour presentation of the interactive board software with demonstration and examples of lessons and the different resources available. 30 minutes activity with teachers using the Promethean software on computers and preparing flipcharts that could be used in a lesson. 30 minutes of presentation of their work and discussion of different methods and options that can be used to enhance teaching and learning with this technology. |
